Welcome to fanTAStic

fanTAStic is the Australian International Girl Guide jamboree. It is being held in Tasmania from 6 – 12 January 2013.

At fanTAStic you will meet Guides from all over Australia, as well as Girl Guides and Girl Scouts from many other countries. For 7 days you will have a uniquely Tasmanian experience, focusing on fun, friendship, new adventures and the environment.

Registration is now open.

Registration closes on 30 June 2012. To register click above and it will take you to our online registration site. Initially you have to log on and obtain an activation number. Your registration does not have to be completed in one sitting. You can add the missing details later. All registrations will be sent back to your State to check the status of your membership.

THE DEVIL'S FOOTPRINTS

VISION... To offer Girl Guides from around Australia and overseas a unique Tasmanian experience focused on friendship, fun and the environment, linked to the fundamentals of the Australian Guide Program.

The Girl Say Project of 2007 determined at the national and local level that Girl Guide's top concern was the Environment.

Girls will have an opportunity to be informed, challenge and given take home strategies to be the change they want to see in the world in relation to the Environment as part of an integrated, challenging and fun program at FanTAStic.

The natural environments of Tasmania and the icon of the Tasmanian Devil provides a unique opportinuity for Guides Tasmanian to deliever a camping experience that meets the needs of today's girls and young women - "Girls Worldwide Say ...
